Paradice Ice Cream Parlour (formerly The Plaza) began life in March 2018. Specialising in Kelly’s Ice Cream we offer a vast variety of ice creams as well as sorbets. We try and cater for everyone so stock diabetic and vegan ice creams too. We also offer freshly made Belgian waffles served either with or without your choice of ice cream. You can also pop in and have one of our delicious sundaes or knickerbocker glories. Paradice also has a selection of lollies and hot and cold drinks including affogatos. We serve a variety of teas made to your liking and barista style coffee made from freshly ground Island Roasted coffee beans.
Kelly's Ice Cream & More
We specialise in delicious Kelly’s Ice Cream made with their Cornish milk and clotted cream, but regularly have more than 35 different ice creams in stock, so if you don't see what you like just ask. We also have a selection of ice creams for vegans as well as ice cream for diabetics. For dog lovers' we also provide Scoop's ice cream for dogs.
A variety of cones and tubs are available, so come in and make your day special!
Beau's Vegan Ice Cream
Beau’s passion lies in producing fresh, gorgeous tasting handcrafted ice cream using only natural ingredients. They’re committed to using ethical and sustainable resources, working with local producers and artisans wherever possible to bring you a celebration of flavour in every mouthful. And the best thing about this delicious ice cream is that it's made here on the Isle of Wight!
BelgianWaffles & Pancakes
Indulge in a Belgian waffle or our American style pancakes. These are both served with your choice of syrup (maple, chocolate, toffee, strawberry or raspberry) and can be eaten either with or without ice cream. Come on, you deserve it!
Ice Cream Milkshakes
Our delicious milkshakes are made from any two flavours of ice cream (unless you want more). The in-house favourite is rocky road with cookies and cream, but with so many flavours available there are more than 325 possible combinations. Add whippy, cream, marshmallows, sprinkles or chocolate flakes; the choices are endless.
With no artificial flavourings or colourants and served in plant-based Vegware cups, lids and straws, they're not only good for you, but good for the environment!
Coffees
At Paradice we serve freshly ground Island Roasted barista coffee that is produced here on the Isle of Wight. You can indulge in a tasty affogato (made with our delicious ice cream) or one of the more traditional coffees which include americanos, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, mochas and espressos amongst others. Alternatively why not try one of our award winning hot chocolates.
Or come in and try a wonderful iced coffee, with the optional whippy topper for that little bit of extra luxury.
Teas
Traditional breakfast tea, decaffeinated tea, mint tea, earl grey and herbal tea are all available. We make all our teas by hand and so will always make it to your desired strength and liking. Come in for a well earned break; you might even be tempted by an ice cream.
